Inspire2Enterprise is a social enterprise, a joint-venture between the University of Northampton and Exemplas, providing a unique free-to-access social enterprise support, information and advice service - from start-up through to initial growth and beyond.
The Inspire2Enterprise service is delivered by qualified advisers and specialists, by phone, email or online via webcam, enabling immediate access to the support you need.

The online volunteering platform Do-it has been revamped to allow people to share volunteering opportunities through social media. The redevelopment of the site went live last week and has now been optimised for mobile and tablet devices.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has invested £10m into RBS Social & Community Capital (S&CC), the bank’s social finance charity – formerly known as the RBS Micro Finance Fund, to help organisations that struggle to access mainstream finance in the UK.
A small group with backgrounds in research, teaching, art and design had formed to take over the running of a disused biological field centre in Mid Wales. The plan was to use action research methods to learn about the challenges and opportunities of sustainable place making, while returning the buildings to use as a resource for local communities and a base for teaching and learning.
The Big Venture Challenge supports ambitious social entrepreneurs with access to finance, business support and connections to scale up their work. The programme is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is now in its final year having started back in 2011.
Small Business Saturday UK is a campaign which highlights small business success, encouraging consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities. It takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses. This year’s event takes place this Saturday 6th December.
